I know it's a little early to start making Christmas cards, but I am in the mood for it!
I went to the store and bought some paper and stuff but now i'm stuck!
What are some ideas, YouTube tutorials, websites and stuff I could use to give me ideas on what they should look like?

I know this is a bit late but I need to make something for my mom. I can't go out and get something now. I have an idea but I want to give her something besides a card and what I'm thinking. I have always gotten my mom something exept this Christmas. Don't call me selfish because I actually have good reasons why I couldn't get her something. All I have is a yankee candle that I'm going to give her + the card and other gift. Thanks!

I'm planning on giving my crush a Christmas card tomorrow (our last day before break).

I need to know if I should actually go through with it. She has been aware that I like her and it stops me from making a move. We're both extremely shy.

Should I just go through with it?

And how do you think she would react?

we don't do christmas cards often, we just card-reply to the cards we get, lol, but this year we were thinking of making them. in the past we've just used family pictures from vacations, but we only have like 2 and they're awful. we thought it might be nice to have one of my horse dressed up christmasy (santa hat & garland or reindeer antlers & red nose) since its sort of original compared to a typical card...but is it show-offish? most people know i have a horse, but not all of the people we'd be sending cards too. i wouldn't be in the picture, just him. i thought that might make it better, not so "look at me! i have a horse!" and more "aww, he's cute" haha.

                      so what do you think?

I just began working at a small local chain restaurant. It is not full service, as customers order at the register, then we run the food out to them...as well as bus and clean all the tables, stock all supplies, perform closing duties such as sweeping, flipping chairs, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms. The pay is minimum wage. I was informed that "not that many people tip" so they put all the tips into an account for the annual company Christmas party. I was okay with this until I realized I was missing out on an average of in credit card and about cash tips a day. When I questioned this I was told that we would have to make waiter pay to keep our tips, and if we don't make minimum then the company has to compensate (duh). Also was told to keep my mouth shut about it if I wanted to keep my job. I don't think this is legal. I have worked at Sonic (where I made more than minimum wage and was aloud to keep my tips) and bartended as well. I don't want to lose my job over this b/c right now its all I have...but I do not think this is legal...nor do I see how a company Christmas party should cost this much. Besides, it should be something the owners do out of appreciation..not something we should have no choice but to fund and participate in. Thoughts?
Server wage in Louisiana IS 2.13....but b/c we aren't "full service", we make 7.25 an hour. However, when someone tips me on a credit card payment that I ring up under my name, that tip was meant for me. I have no problem tipping out the kitchen or splitting all the cc tips with the other front workers. But being forced to give up all my tips for some party where "the alcohol and drugs and good food will be a-flowing"? I am 30 years old and have 2 children. These things are not important to me. I believe it comes down to one of the owner's wives who does the payroll...not wanting to take the time to separate and divvy up the CC tips, tax them and add them to our paychecks. If I wasn't so desperate for a job I would've walked out by now. If I am terminated for pursuing this, my local news station will be getting a call from me.
