It depends on whom it is for and the occasion, like I just made a baby card for a boy, I put baby style vellum paper over blue card stock so it would show thru, then made four white squares and wrote B A B Y on each one then used baby pins to pin them the the ribbon I had put on top, It turned out really cute.
